Nurturing Discipline means Alternatives for Parents
Discipline can be a nurturing endeavour, parents can have alternatives to the use of corporal punishment, and all people can promote this campaign to elicit positive outcomes within all families. Even a small token of support shows your commitment to protecting children. Not to support this message prolongs apathy, leaving children defenceless and vulnerable.
It is easy to support the Ministry of Discipline’s message.
#1 Show Off Our Logo on Your Website or Blog
Take the following code between the asterisk placeholders and paste it where you want the logo to appear on your site.
***begin***
<a href=”http://www.ministryofdiscipline.com” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://bit.ly/ch43nu” alt=”Ministry of Discipline @ SuperParents in Perth, Australia” /></a>
***end***
This code will place the following logo (without the grey caption frame) on your site.
The Ministry of Discipline logo was designed by my son Will(8), who immediately thought to use the symbol for peace as his inspiration for this design. The logo features additional stars, smaller peace symbols, lighting bolts, planets, and green energy beams.
It was originally drawn on a white background, but I’ve modified it to black. I intend to change the logo back to white when I get the Ministry supported by 10,000 websites.
All websites proudly supporting our goals will be listed here.
#2 Join Our Social Networks
Join us at The Ministry of Discipline FaceBook Group. Go to the group’s page and invite more of your friends along by clicking on the ‘invite people’ link on the upper left. It’s for a good cause, and helps people understand that there are alternatives to physical punishment that parents and care-givers are not exploring.
You can add our twitter feed located at twitter.com/superparents_au, and track tweets regarding the #ministryofdiscipline. Retweet messages to your friends.
#3 Start a Local Chapter Why Don’t You
I see a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of support coming from people all over the World.
So why not set up a consulate in your country or your state? This will help solidify the reach of the Ministry, and create more traction for the message of nurturing discipline. Being a consul member will also mean we can create additional policies to promote more positive parenting.
Additional consuls also mean that the Ministry has a greater probability of making the leap off the Internet. I hope you don’t think this message is only confined to links. We need to reach out and make a difference, and we need to do this one person at a time. I have faith that we can make some waves, and I’d like you to be part of that team. Message me.
#4 Have Your Say
A FaceBook group has been specifically created for members to Have Your Say. Participate by posting a response and understand the issue from different perspectives. All responses will be collated and highlighted through this blog.
